Without forward movement, the flow of air entering your radiator to cool its coolant is severely restricted. As the coolant increases in temperature it becomes less effective at cooling your engine before eventually boiling.
A simple way to maintain air flow while riding in slow, technical conditions is to fit your Sherco with Radiator Fans. The Radiator Fans draw air around the tank shrouds and into the radiators to prevent overheating. Radiator Fans are available for four-stroke and two-stroke Sherco’s.
The Sherco four-stroke Radiator Fan Kit is prewired for easy installation. The fans will run when the bike reaches a factory set activation temperature monitored by the ECU.
The two-stroke Radiator Fan Kit is also prewired. It features a clever digital control which allows the tuner to modify the activation temperature if required.
